Truth and Grace Ministries began in September of 2009 with a core group of about 30 meeting in a basement on Saturday evenings. Planting a new congregation requires a lot of hard work and personal sacrifice on behalf of each member. We have met in several locations as we worked to build a solid core of committed members. Through it all, those in the congregation have developed a heart for people more than for brick and mortar. Truth and Grace Ministries was officially launched as a congregation on September 5, 2010 with 60 people committing to and signing the Church Membership Covenant. There are currently over 90 people who call Truth and Grace Home.
Our Purpose (Reason for existence)
We Live To Love God And Love People.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments” (Matthew 22:37-39).
Our Mission (Our assigned task)
To INTRODUCE people to Jesus Christ, help them GROW in Christ-likeness, and then REPRODUCE the process in others.
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
Our Guiding Practices
- Pray Thoughtfully
- Love Deeply
- Welcome Guests Generously
- Gift Grace Lavishly
“The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers. Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. Cheerfully share your home with those who need a meal or a place to stay. God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another” (1 Peter 4:7-11).

Articles of Faith
- We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.
- We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He now is our High Priest and Advocate.
- We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner and indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service.
- We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost and only by sovereign grace through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
- We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit, and thus become children of God.
